Terry Connors, M.Ed., PhD., C.Psychol., A.F.B.Ps.S.
Dr. Terry Connors is a leading Executive Coach, Educator and Organisational Psychologist. Since graduating with a PhD in psychology in 1997, he has coached over 1,000 clients in career, personal and work performance development. From 2000, as Programme Director at Psychometrix, he has trained over 1,300 coaching, recruitment, selection, career guidance, counselling and psychology professionals to the European (EFPA) and British (BPS) standards in psychometric testing.
He is BPS assessor for 16PF and specialises in working with the Myers-Briggs model, emotional intelligence, motivational values, careers assessments and 360-degree feedback for personal and performance development. Over the past twenty-five years, he has taught psychology at university level, including Coaching and Psychometrics (University College Cork; University of Limerick; Smurfit Graduate School of Business; Irish Management Institute) as well as Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Health Promotion and Behavioural Science (University College Galway; Open University; Athlone /IT).
Terry specialises in developing and delivering assessment, coaching and training programmes for staff selection, motivation, teambuilding and leadership development, and clients include multinationals (Accenture, Citibank, DCC Group, Ericsson, Tesco, Unilever), public bodies (Public Appointments Commission, Pensions Board, Enterprise Ireland, HSE), banks (Bank of Ireland, AIB, Ulster Bank), third level colleges (Trinity, UCC, UCD, UCG, UL, DCU) and management training programmes (University College Cork, Irish Management Institute, Smurfit Graduate School of Business).
